Embossing Folders

2D and 3D embossing folders in 5x7, 6x6, A4, and 6x4 sizes are in stock and ship across the US.

About Embossing Folders

Our range of more than 800 folders covers textured backgrounds, Christmas designs, florals, and damask patterns. Brands include Crafter's Companion, Anna Griffin, and Tonic.

Start with a 2D folder if you are new to embossing. Textured backgrounds and florals work well on card fronts and panels.

Buying tip: 3D folders need a different plate stack than 2D folders, so check your machine sandwich before you cut. Match the folder size to the plates you own.

Each folder pairs with a plate stack, so the folder you choose affects which plates you need. Keep your layers in the same order every time for clean, even results.

Frequently asked questions

Will these folders work with my machine?
Most folders run through standard roller machines with a plate stack. Confirm that your plates are large enough for the folder size you pick, such as 6x6 or A4, and that 3D folders have a deeper stack.
Do you ship outside North Las Vegas?
Yes. We ship within the US from our North Las Vegas store, so you can order online from anywhere in the country and have your embossing folders sent to your door.
Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes, store pickup is available at 4385 N Pecos Rd Ste 160, North Las Vegas, NV 89030. We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm, closed Mondays. Call 702-551-7704 with questions.
What is the easiest folder to start with?
Choose a 2D folder in 6x6 with a simple texture or background. It lines up easily, needs only a basic plate stack, and gives clear results on medium weight cardstock.
What paper works best with embossing?
Medium weight cardstock usually embosses cleanly. Test a scrap first, because very thin or very thick paper can behave differently in the folder. Keep the folder and paper flat and centered.
